Spend the day climbing ice, high in the San Juan Mountains
Whether you are a seasoned ice climber looking to refine your already established skills or a total beginner learning how to swing your tool in the most efficient way, San Juan Expeditions has you covered.
With access to multi-pitch alpine ice in Silverton or a more single pitch oriented experience in Cascade Canyon (Durango) or the world famous ice park in Ouray, Colorado; our guides spend the time to educate our guests so they walk away with skills to use on their personal objectives. SJE guides are AMGA trained and educated to provide you with the highest standards of instruction. Work with our team to curate a tailored experience that you won’t soon forget.
For Full day Climbing, you will have access to endless multi-pitch terrain in the South Mineral area and the CO-Rd 2 corridor, Eureka. For early season ice (November-December) please reach out to us to see what ice is climbable.
For Half-day climbing, we will take you to one of our favorite areas for single pitch climbing, Cascade Canyon, halfway between Silverton and Durango.
