IFMGA Guide – Josh Kling

Josh is a moun­tain and ski guide hailing from Duran­go, CO. As a 4 season guide, Josh has experience guiding rock climb­ing, alpine climb­ing, and back­coun­try ski­ing. As an Amer­i­can Moun­tain Guides Asso­ci­a­tion (AMGA) Cer­ti­fied Rock Guide, Assis­tant Alpine Guide, and Assis­tant Ski Guide Josh has set his sights on the coveted “pin” of an IFM­GA  certification. In addi­tion to guid­ing, Josh is an AIARE Lev­el 1 & 2 course leader, facilitates AMGA programs such as the Climb­ing Wall Instruc­tor Pro­gram, and the AMGA Sin­gle Pitch Instruc­tor Pro­gram. He has taught for numer­ous nation­al­ly rec­og­nized orga­ni­za­tions and worked as a guide on four of the sev­en sum­mits. An active member in the outdoor community of the Southwest Josh helps to coor­di­nate the Flight For Life Avalanche Deploy­ment team and is a Tech­ni­cal Team Mem­ber, Train­ing Instruc­tor, and Win­ter Response Team Coor­di­na­tor with La Pla­ta Coun­ty Search and Res­cue in Colorado.
