Bruce has worked in the outdoor and adventure education profession for over 20 years as an instructor, guide, educator and administrator. After 12 years running collegiate outdoor programs he transitioned to faculty while at Green Mountain College. After a teaching stint at the University of Idaho he moved to Durango to teach in the Adventure Education program and coordinate Fort Lewis on the Water, an interdisciplinary water-based outdoor education program. Bruce is a Course Leader for the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education, and an Assistant Ski Guide with the American Mountain Guides Association.

Bruce feels strongly about meeting guests and students where they are and helping them develop skills to meet their goals.
