• Duration 3 Days
  • Overnight Camping
  • Technical Climbing

Climb a classic 13er in the Grenadier Range!

Arrow Peak is the sister peak to Vestal, with a slightly less technical summit. This peak is a great warm up for Vestal Peak and can be combined on a multi day trip or as a stand alone peak. With one of the most beautiful settings in the Vestal basin and some of the best rock in the San Juan Mountain range, this peak is a mountain climber’s dream.

This Class 3, 6 mile and 3,800 round trip from Vestal Creek Camp is one of the best Class 3 scrambles around. Upon the 13,803′ summit, enjoy 360 views of the San Juan Mountains. To get to camp, hike in from Molas Pass or take the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and save a few miles and 1,800′ of climbing while experiencing breathtaking views along a historical trip.
