IFMGA Guide/Owner – Amos Whiting
Amos Whiting is co-owner and Head Guide for the Aspen and San Juan Expeditions brand. Amos has been mountain guiding since 1995. He has a BA in Adventure Education and Psychology from Prescott College, and was the 20th American to receive the IFMGA international guide certification. Amos has guided rock, alpine, and ski adventures in over 15 countries on 5 continents. He has worked as a Senior Instructor-Examiner for the American Mountain Guides Association since 2001.
Amos’s favorite things to do are: sunny rock climbing at home and abroad (the desert splitters of Indian Creek have s special place in his heart) ; deep water soloing in Mallorca, Spain and skiing deep pow around the world.
