COVID-19 Guidelines

COVID-19 Policy for the 2021-2022 Season: 

 

For our Winter 2021/2022 season, we will be requiring proof of full Covid-19 vaccination for in person avalanche course classroom sessions. All client’s will be required to submit a photo of their vaccination card to [email protected]

 

Hut avalanche courses/ Private Hut trips will also be requiring proof of full Covid-19 vaccination and proof of negative PCR test 72 hours prior to course start. All clients will be required to submit a photo of their vaccination card and forward on their negative test results to [email protected] 

 

THE ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF VACCINATION PROOF:

An original, official COVID-19 vaccination certificate or photo of an original, official COVID-19 vaccination certificate (For residents of Colorado the myColorado™ app vaccination records are acceptable – all text must be legible. Out of state residents may use a similar app or a cell phone photo). The name on the vaccination record must match the name on the ID of the attendee. The vaccination certificate must match a valid form of identification such as a driver’s license or passport.

Fully vaccinated means: you are two weeks removed from your second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, or two weeks removed from your single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Boosters will not be mandatory for our winter 2021/2022 season.

Dates: If you are attending, your vaccination must show the second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, or single dose of Johnson & Johnson, prior to the course or event.

For all hut based trips, you must have proof of vaccination AND a negative PCR based test. If you do not receive your test in time, we will not allow you to attend your hut based course.

THE ACCEPTABLE FORM OF A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST ARE AS FOLLOWS:

A valid original negative Covid-19 PCR based Test (time-stamped within two days prior to event check-in).
